Travis Taylor, M.D.
Dr. Taylor joined Tejas Anesthesia in 2016 with his primary focus as a Pediatric Anesthesiologist. He is a member of the Finance Committee for Tejas; as well, he is a member of the Pediatric OR Committee at University Hospital and the Medical Records Committee at Methodist Children’s Hospital. His practice is focused in the South Texas Medical Center.
A graduate of Baylor University with a Bachelor of Science in Informatics with a minor in Chemistry, he subsequently attended medical school at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, TX where he also completed his Internship in General Pediatrics. Dr. Taylor went on to complete his Anesthesiology residency at The University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey (currently Rutgers University) in Newark, NJ and returned to Dallas, TX to complete his Pediatric Anesthesiology fellowship at the University of Texas at Southwestern. He is licensed in the state of Texas and board-certified by The American Board of Anesthesiology in both Anesthesiology and Pediatric Anesthesiology sub-specialty. Dr. Taylor is a member of the Pediatric Division of Tejas Anesthesia, with a focus on pediatric anesthesia and the perioperative care of children ranging from the extremely premature through early adulthood.
Dr. Taylor is an avid Spurs fan, enjoys traveling, cycling, new culinary adventures, and watching Baylor sports.
