Kristina Eng, M.D.
Dr. Eng joined Tejas Anesthesia in 2012, and she is currently a member of the San Antonio division. A native of Flint, MI, Dr. Eng graduated cum laude with a B.S. in biochemistry from the University of Notre Dame in South Bend, IN. She attended the University of Michigan Medical School in Ann Arbor, MI, and completed her residency in Anesthesiology and fellowship in Cardiothoracic Anesthesiology with the University of Michigan Hospital System.
Dr. Eng is licensed in the state of Texas and a Diplomate of the The American Board of Anesthesiology. She is also a Diplomate in Advanced Perioperative Transesophageal Echocardiography by the National Board of Echocardiography. Her current practice takes her to many hospitals in the San Antonio area.
Dr. Eng is a member of the Methodist Hospital System Cardiovascular Service Line Quality Committee, and she is deeply committed to ensuring that the citizens of South Texas receive excellent cardiovascular care. She also has an interest in technology in medicine, and she is a member of the Anesthesia Information Management System exploratory committee for Methodist Hospital. Furthermore, she participates as a member of the Anesthesia Clinical Review Committee for Methodist Hospital.
Dr. Eng and her husband have two young children, and she enjoys family time while camping, traveling, and cooking.
